Really average food - pizza was like a supermarket frozen base. Chips good, chorizo and bread average.Had two gin cocktails which were great but not great enough to redeem the terrible pizza.

Great tasting experience here. Loved everything we tried, but the gins steak the show.

Our family stopped by eager for a tasting. We started off with 2 flights of single malt whisky and cocktails however did not get the walked through tasting experience that 2 other groups received. Not sure why we were treated differently.I would hope that other people are not treated in a bias manner. We did not stay to buy any more drinks or dinner after the odd treatment received. The American oak was a bit of a sickly sweet with too much vanilla for my taste. The Sherry Oak was fairly monotonous predominantly orange. The Port oak was a much more pleasant warm nutmeg and cinnamon with a mix of spice and salt. The peated was the only one with any complexity on the nose, palette and after taste.I would not buy any of the 4 I and I'm sure others have far better bottles in on their shelves at home. I do wonder what their winning bottle tasted like. It's strange that it is not on a flight.

Loved the different tastings on offer here! Great tasting liquors, and was tempted to buy them all! Out door area is great for big gatherings, and the front looks over the water. The peat they use is locally found and adds an amazing depth to the liquor. Worth popping in on your way back from the gap.

We stopped off today to pick up a bottle of whiskey for a special occasion. Mark was so friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to show us around. You don’t get the snobbery that you would get elsewhere, even with the world class reputation of this distillery. He was really down to earth and welcoming. He made our day.

Thanks to the Staff at Limeburners for their great service, tasting samples and providing food on a Tuesday at 2pm, which was an ask at other venues in Albany. Hospitality was exceptional, the product offering was amazing and just the little touches in hospitality that make you want to go back and explore more, thank you. 10/10.

Love the service and knowledge given. There’s a variety to try and do some testing ranging from $5 to $20. Would definitely come back again when in Albany and recommend trying Australian whisky

I enjoyed the whisky but as far as tasting experiences go this one was pretty poor. No info provided about the distillery or the spirits. Pretty much just order what you want and they provide it.
